- Arbitrage
- Placing bets on all possible outcomes of an event across different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread betting system that eliminates the draw by giving a fractional goal advantage or disadvantage to each team.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for betting activities.
- Bet Slip
- The digital record that lists your selected wagers, stake amounts, and potential payouts.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet that wins if each side scores at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet predicting the exact final score of a match.
- Draw No Bet
- A wager that refunds your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise pays out on the winning team.
- Edge
- A perceived advantage you believe you have over the bookmaker’s odds, based on analysis or information.
- First Goalscorer
- A bet on which player will score the opening goal of the match.
- Futures
- Long‑term bets placed on events that will be decided in the future, such as the winner of the World Cup.
- Hedge
- Betting on the opposite outcome of an earlier wager to reduce risk or secure a profit after a change in circumstances.
- Implied Probability
- The chance of an outcome as calculated from the odds, showing what the bookmaker believes will happen.
- Juice
- The commission or fee that a bookmaker adds to the odds, often seen as the built‑in margin for the house.
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet relative to your perceived edge, aiming to maximize long‑term growth.
